CONNGI conducted the first workshop as part of the Butterfly Effect project’s phase dedicated to countering hate speech, focusing on 11- to 19-year-olds. This was made possible thanks to the collaboration with Ciofs Liguria, an institution that enthusiastically welcomed this important initiative.
The project involved the collaboration of male and female students who worked together, leveraging their unique experiences and skills.
This spirit of collaboration was a key element in creating communication aimed at raising awareness of hate speech among young people. It was a time of open and honest dialogue, where different perspectives merged to create an inclusive learning environment.
Together we addressed awareness about the power of words and the positive actions each individual can take to create a safer and more respectful environment.
The Butterfly Effect project is committed to the fight against hate speech, recognizing that educating and raising awareness in young minds is critical to shaping a respectful and supportive community. This has been a work of sharing, collaboration among students, activists and the organizations involved.
